  4. Amp-hours refers to the storage capacity of a battery.  As long as the battery physically fits in the space (the 9Ah battery has 50% more plate area than the 6Ah, so it will be physically bigger), and the voltage is the same,  then you will be fine.  

    Is this an electric scooter (like a Razor) and you want more run time out of it?  If so, then you are on the right track.  By definition, a 6Ah battery will supply 1 amp for 6 hours or 6 amps for 1 hour.  So the higher the Ah rating, the longer it will supply a specific amp draw.
