  1. I wouldn't think so. Sirius comes from a satellite. Your cell signal comes from a big cell tower array. One of the tekkies may have a better answer. but I wouldn't try it.

  2. Different Frequencies... Cell phone is 800 and 1.9Ghz in US.. you are trying to boost a signal that's at roughly 2.4 GHZ If I remember the allocation correct

    But a booster won't help as it will also amplify the noise.. the cell phone booster takes a mobile signal and boosts the RF level to 3 watts to transmit (acts like a mini repeater).. all you are trying to do is receive.... it will help you receive, but will be with noise you don't want.

    If you really want to improve a signal anyway, get a preamplifier from a ham radio operator and wire it from there as that's the only signal boosters I know of in that area that isn't commercial grade (read $10k+)
