If I put an egg in V8 will it get bigger or smaller and why?

Unless you weakened the shell, nothing will happen. Ifyou first soak the egg in vingar to weaken the shell and then put it into the V8, the egg will get bigger.  The reason is osmosis.  The water flows into the egg to try to get the concentration of particlesto be equal on each side of the egg.  Because the fluid is thicker inside of the egg, the water will flow in until the concentration of particles is equal.  If you would like further information look up Osmosis or look at the ollowing link:
