If I put my computer to sleep will it turn off my AIM?

I usually have an away message up, and that's how I like it. But if I set my computer to "sleep" will it shut that down?

I have wireless internet if that matters.

Yeah, thats ri8 if u put ur computer to sleep ur AIM will log out. its because once u put the computer to sleep the computer gets disconnected from the net. so, not only AIM all other messengers and online services will be turned off.
