...after the bank closes will it still count as being payed today? I'm not sure that I can make it to the bank before they close today and since it's the 15th the mortgage needs to be payed to day or there will be late fees. Thanks.

  1. Additionally you can check the bank's webpage/website or call the 800 number to see if you can make a payment through the phone or web.  There may be a nominal convenience fee, but if you are worried about it being late it may be a better option for you.

  2. every lender has a web site and you can sign up and pay it on line

  3. If you put your loan payment in the Night Drop after business hours or even after they open it will go on the next days business, most banks only check Night Drop once a day and it is usually 1st thing in the a.m.

I would call your bank at find out what other options they have for you.

Customer service should be able to debit your account and make the payment  for you as long as both accounts reside at the same bank.   If not, they still should be able to process the payment over the phone using your checking account.

    I hope this helps!

  4. If your payment is due on the 15th of each month then it needs to be posted at the bank no later then 2 pm (or the time your bank uses) to be considered paid on time.  Any payment placed in a drop box will be next day business, as well as any payment made after the time your bank uses.

  5. you're late on your payment.  Why are you still making payments through mail or in person?  Have it set up to be taken automatically from your bank account.  Saves you so much time and aggravation.

  6. Call the bank and ask if they can electronically deduct the payment from your checking account. I'm sure they can. If they do, your payment will be on time.

You may also be able to pay it on-line.
