at a personal checking account? The reason I ask this is that if I give it to my Bursar's office...I will lose that money since I already have excess outside scholarships. They already told me that I'm going to lose that money. I don't want to lose this money. I want to save it in MY checking account for next year when I don't have that much money to use.

Can I?

  1. no most of the time if you earn a scholarshipand it's made payable to you....then it's yours and you can spend it whatever way you see fit.
