If I receive my teaching degree is there anyway I can receive my teaching license without student teaching?

I will be receiving my teaching degree but my school says I will not be certified to teach unless I student teach. Are there any alternative options for gaining a teaching license besides student teaching since I already will have my teaching degree?

I am also looking for information on this.  Not because I am trying to "duck out" on this responsibility, and I realize that it provides invaluable experience, but because as a single working parent, I cannot afford to not work for 4 months, full time.  I already possess a bachelors degree (in another field) and have all but one class and my student teaching to go to receive my certificate.  However, I am trying to find a way to be able to student teach and still pay my rent, student loans, utilities, son's expenses, insurance, etc.  If anyone has any experience in this, or knows of any programs (I am in Pennsylvania), please, please...share.
