If I see someone as a black shadow, what does that mean?

I had a dream about my ex-husband last night. In the dream I was with his wife and the kids. He was out for the night.

While she and I were up talking, I thought of him, and I had a feeling he was coming home soon.

As soon as I had that thought, I saw him walk past the window, and I saw him as a black shadow.

I instantly thought that I knew him better than his wife, and I felt his presence more than his wife. (because I felt his presence b4 I even saw him.)

What does this dream mean? Is it a good or bad dream? Does the fact that I saw him as a black shadow make him evil? Is he hovering me, spiritually, mentally, or through witch craft?

His mom had a dream a little similar to mine, about 4 years ago. She saw him and saw a black shadow behind him, and he was shackled.

Could it be that these dreams relate?

It could be that an evil spirit has your ex under bondage. Note that your mother saw him shackled and a black shadow following him. First you need to pray asking Jesus Christ to protect you and your ex-husband from all harm and danger. Next you need to talk to him and ask him if he is alright or if something is bothering him. Ask him if he feels heavy or depressed. A lot of times a demon causes persons to be overburdened with things. Next you need to ask a pastor to pray for your ex-husband. I personally believe that God is showing you that there is an evil spirit following him.
