If I send a picture mail by phone and delete the picture from my phone can that picture still be seen anywhere

So, picture taken / picture sent to another phone/ picture deleted from my phone / where else other than the other phone the picture was sent to can the pic be seen?

on your phone in the outbox, so make sure to delete that too but other than that only to the person you sent it to !!

Obviously the recipient can see it.

In theory it can only be seen on the other phone, but remember that all (and that means ALL) digital communications can be intercepted.  If you sent it email (like a BlackBerry to a BlackBerry), it goes to a mail server, all email is potentially vulnerable.  If you sent it as a phone-to-phone, it is harder to intercept, but possible.  Just like any phone call you make can be intercepted, and it still has to go through a server somewhere.

And don't forget that the other person could (intentionally or accidentally) forward the picture.
