If I send an IM to a group....does each recpient also see all the others I sent that same message to?

Do the recepients see all the addressees I have sent that message to?

If you send the message using the group email they won't see the other person email. If you add one by one at the TO field they'll see each other email so you might use BCC option instead of using the To field.
