If I set up an Airport Express in my dorm off the ethernet, can the college see the wireless/know its there?

I'll be at Indiana University and I desperately want wireless internet, but it's against the rules to have a WAP, so I was wondering if it was hidden and password-protected if the IT staff could even see it/realize its there.

You could make it a closed network, but don't try to fool the IT guys if it means you could get suspended from school. That's not worth it!
