I am not sure if that is a big improvement or what.

  1. Like the first person said. It depends on what it was before, and your health. I have health factors that makes my time running the mile quite low. After a few months I was able to run 2 minutes less, yet still slow for the average person. For me, it was an improvement, for an average, well at health person, it wouldn't have made a huge difference.

  2. Improvement of any kind is good. From the times you posted, I'm guessing you don't push yourself. You are probably trying to run it so you don't get tired. You need to continue pushing yourself harder and harder until you get it to a minimum of 7:30 minutes.

  3. It depends on what your original mile was. If it changed from  9 min to 8 min, there's nothing special about it. But if it changed from 6 min to 5 min, than you've made a good improvement. Keep it up!
