  1. I would say it would help with pronunciation, but you should probably learn the language first because pronunciation will be hard to master without a firm grasp on the language.

  2. It will help your pronunciation some. But, be aware, when French is sung the silent Es often get sounded, especially at the end of words, even though you would never say those Es when speaking French normally.

So, best case scenario, with all those extra Es you'll sound like you're from the south of France.

  3. Most likely because you will begin to recognize words, sounds, phrases and pronunciation of the French language.

  4. yeah i think so.

  5. Actually, yes. When I was learning English, I used to listen to Madonna and Elton John and singing along helped me a great deal to acquire pronunciation, speed, rhythm and learn a lot of vocabulary. But mostly, this is an excellent way to get a feel for the language and speak entire sentences or phrases naturally and without hesitation or pause. Go for it!

  6. It depends. I "know" the lyrics to many Japanese songs, but have no clue to their meaning. Make sure you look at translations as well a just singing. Sometime the sentence structures are pretty different (from French), and that might throw you off a bit.
