Hello!

Let'see... Code Geass and Death Note both do not include romance and does not have a female lead character. They both include supernatural powers and has two main characters that have opposite point of view of justice and peace. Both series also include some humor, fantasy and a lot of brains and they both are darkish and bloody. Wow, these series has a lot in common! Which makes it very hard to choose. ^-^;;

I think I'll recommend....

Chrono Crusade - 24 episodes (Bloody, Fantasy)

Full Metal Alchemist - 51 episodes (I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for but I really recommend this one. ^-^ - Fantasy)

Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne - 44 episodes (Shoujo, Fantasy)

Higurashi no naku koro ni - 26 episodes (Bloody, Fantasy)

Blood+ - 50 episodes (Bloody and Romance, Fantasy)

Vampire Knight - 13 episodes (Bloody and Romance, Fantasy -shoujo)

Spiral ~Suiri no Kizuna~ - 25 episodes (Life threatening, Detective - Very recommended)

Shining Tears x Wind - 13 episodes (Betrayal, Fantasy)
