  1. You won't you'll hit the earth's core and won't be able to pass it, or if by some miracle you do. You die as you will be immersed in unbelievable heat and magma. Save yourself a lot of time and effort, go on a plane.

  2. hahaha depends where you live. if you are from UK. you have to learn to swim, because you will have to pass the ocean=)

  3. If you dig a couple of shovels worth, then jump on a plane you should be there by Bank Holiday ?!?

  4. What kind of spade are you using and which country are you in?

  5. Always a few minutes longer than you've already been digging.

  6. Hey that's funny. I had the same thought when I was 5 year old!!. but I think you would have to take a left turn just before you reached New Zealand!!

  7. Don't know but send us a postcard when you get there.

  8. I started digging a hole to Australia many years ago but life became more interesting and I abandoned it.  Shame.  I think I might have made it by now though if I had kept digging.    Good luck.  Take a packed lunch for sustenance and a few beers for the Aussies when you get there.

  9. About 20 hours once you finish that hole and head for the airport.
