  1. A varied and balanced vegetarian diet would keep you healthy so you must not be eating that way.  This is also not the place to ask about fish..vegetarians don't eat them.

  2. Fish is contaminated with mercury.  If I were you, I would avoid it for that reason alone.

  3. It is really hard to answer this question without a lot more information. A vegetarian diet is complete in nutrients when balanced properly, so without knowing what you are eating now, no one will be able to tell you if eating fish will do anything for you.

You could feel bad simply b/c you have not balanced your diet right; if you add fish but still have an unhealthy diet, nothing is going to change.

  4. Not reacting well to what?

Why don't you start eating a balanced diet? You don't need fish or meat to eat a balanced diet.

  5. Some types of fish are very good for you.  Just don't always eat it fried.

  6. You dont need to eat meat to have a healthy diet, but you do need to make sure you get all you're nutrients...someone can be a vegetarian and eat nothing but ice cream and cheetos, which isnt healthy or they can enjoy whole grains, soy protein and fresh fruits and veggies and their diet is very healthy...it isnt the lack of meat that makes you're diet unhealthy, its what you are eating instead that is making you feel unhealthy

  7. well if ur a vegitarian/vegan and u wanna eat fish..then thats kinda hypocritical...cuz fish feel the pain too...

im anemic, and i used to have a huge loss of minerals.. so first when i decided to become a vegan i had to make sure my body will be able to deal with it...

so i got iron supplements, multivitamns, and i have them everyday...

i also drink 6-8 glasses of water a day..

and i have oatmeal everyday for breakfast... oatmeal is really healthy cuz it has iron, protien, fiber...

so if ur problem is like me, just do what im doing..

u dont have to start eating fish..

  8. I thought you were vegetarian from the question posted by you earlier? :) anyway, fish is very good for your health as well as a good source of protien. however, if you start eating fish, your no longer a vegetarian, try buying some protien supplementry pills/vitimains as well as eat nuts, and tofu. tofu really isnt as bad as people say, its quite scary looking, but it tastes fine.

try that and hope for the best:)

  9. Fish has healthy oils and vitamins, so yes you would be healthier.  But if you want, you can just supplement with a salmon or other fish oil vitamin.

Make sure your diet is balanced.  consult a vegetarian cook book to make sure you are eating a balanced diet of carbs, greens, and proteins.

  10. I have 5 y/o daughter & 9 y/o son started veganism for past 5 year.

You will never become worst than know being a vegetarian.

  11. Fish is very good for you cause the high amounts of iron and even protein. I eat fish alot and its so much better than eating red meats seems that just collects and all the added stuff is sometimes a factor. I would also try to eat alot more color. Like if you see a basic color you not getting a healthy balance. Hope that helps.

  12. If you are unhealthy you can't blame vegetarianism.  When done right vegetarianism is much healthier than any other diet.

  13. Fish is Excellent for your health but I thought you were Vegetarian from the other question you asked earlier.

  14. I'm no expert, but I know that fish has iron in it, so yeah.
