If I take alot of amoxicillin will I get better by tomorrow?

Question

I never took my meds right and now my strep throat is back and I ran out of amoxicillin. Well, i had two of them left and just took them.

My sis had strep too but she got a diff kind of meds. I have a huge date tomorrow We planned a while ago because he has to work alot.

If i take a few more pills will it hurt me?

Will it make my sore throat go away by tomorrow?

Jane said it perfect. You must take your antibiotics on time. And take all of them in order for them to work. Taking more at one time will not help. Sorry but you will not be better by tomorrow. If they made antibiotics that worked that well that would be awesome but its not going to happen. Make another date for you two to go out. Go to the doc and get yourself a new prescription and take it on time and in Full. You will get better. Good luck to you!

Amoxicillin is an antibiotic. Antibiotic drugs are to be taken on a schedule & doses as prescribed by the Doctors

Sore throat is caused by several reasons. Get it checked by an ENT specialist & then take drugs on thhis advice.

You must take your antibiotics on schedule (and in full) for them to work properly.

You have a great chance of giving strep to your date. What a nice gift.

If you take a bunch of antibiotics at once they won't cure you, but they could cause you harm.

Go back to the doctor and get another prescription and postpone your date until you are better. Your date will thank you.
