Question:

If I take creatine for about a week, will i cramp up if I run on May 30th?

I plan to do some intense lifting like i've been doing all season, but would the creatine even help a little? and I'm only running the first leg of my teams 4x100 relay so its not even that long of a distance to cramp up in...........so would it even be worth it?

  1. It is not going to improve your time, and you are correct in that it can cause dehydration and cramping.


  2. You can cramp up in a 100. Never heard creatine contributing to cramping.

    Cramps are caused by poor conditioning and/or improper warmup

  3. Just drink a lot of water during the day if you're taking creatine and you should stay hydrated enough that you won't cramp up at the end of the week.
