If I take frozen peas, dry them, and then plant them, they will grow, right?

I was just wondering...I think they will though. I just don't really want to waste my time if they won't! Thanks for your answers!

  1. An emphatic no, my friend.  If the boiling water bath that was used to blanch them didn't kill them the freezer did.  


  2. Not really the Freezer kills them so they won't grow. They have to be fresh

  3. No, they won't.  They have been cooked somewhat before freezing.  Sorry.  You can buy some pea seeds.

    check you local store for seeds on clearance

    soak the pea Seeds and plant now for a fall crop
