If I take more than the advised dose...?

Hi, if I'm having a panic attack can I take an extra dose of cipramil? Will it calm me down / help? Why or why not?

  1. I'm not quite sure about it because these drug is designed to to reduce tension and increase relaxation without causing sleep of panic attack patient. However, overdosage of cipramil will cause tiredness, weakness, sedation, dizziness, tremor, nausea and somnolence.


  2. I agree.  It would be best to check with your doctor.  If the panic attack is really bad, I would suggest visiting the emergency room.  They would be able to prescribe something different or increase your dosage.

  3. I would take advice from your physician rather than the seething mass of unqualified fruitcakes that answers here.  You will never be able to check anyone's qualifications.

  4. If you overdose yourself on any drug, you will have no legal protection in regards to anything that may happen afterwards, unless your doctor has specifically said that you can alter the dose in a specific circumstance.
