  1. CH4 is now broadcasting FTA and can be tuned in via "Add Channel" in the Sky Digibox menu, without needing a viewing card at all. Channel "Five" is expected to follow suit within a year but currently requires a card.

To get all the free available channels buy a Freesat viewing card, from Sky which costs just £20. To purchase a viewing card  phone Sky on 08448 244 400

  2. I think they used to ...but not now...they have serial numbers on etc....if she has a Sky card for freeview then she should be able to get channels 4 and 5..I can anyway and I have Sky freeview.

  3. It's better than the ghost says.  They plug a phone extension into the back of the box and any change in the card/box code could result in both the box and the card being cancelled.

And if wanted to use your box again you'd have to take out another contract.

  4. I think its not, but if yes, this is not really legal(you don't use the card in proper way = braking terms and condition). The reason, you need to make changes in the channels and why she don't have that channels?

    1. She don't have that channels.

    2. There is a technical or mechanical problem.

    3. Try to check out the programs she have. Maybe the channels wasn't saved somehow.

You need skills to make what you want, and the best you can do is call technicals. They have skills and everything to resolve your problem.

  5. no

  6. No - they tie the card nto the box  tried watching the footy on my box using a friends card once
