If I take the ACT on October 25, 2008, will it be too late? (I'm a senior)?

I can't take the ACT in September. If I take it in October, will it be too late?

I am going to be a senior in September and I'm planning to apply to UC schools.

It takes 8 weeks for the ACT company to send you the results.

(I scored a 30 last time but I'm thinking that I might be able to do do a little better this time)

no of course it's not too late.  the latest date that the UC schools are willing to accept is the one for december.  so you can take the test multiple times if you want, I think at least 3 times, depending on how you feel that you did.
