If I tape a movie to harddrive and it is to long to burn to disc; what do I do to put it on one or more discs

I'm using windows mediacenter edition then I try to use sonic to burn it ;or I have a limitededition of nero that came with my new dvd burner.But these are three hour movies and they say they can not fit.on nero they have data discs anthey even do decoding;whatever that is!they have settings for super vcd,but I don't know how to use these applications yet.

Try downloading free version of DVD SANTA, then add your movie file , then encode to fit on DVD, (just add file then make DVD) it takes a few hours, but will fit however long the movie is onto one disc! Good Luck!
