If I upgrade my 70cc motorcycle to 88cc how much faster can I expect to be able to go with the extra 18cc's?

You might feel some difference, but will not really go that much faster. By the time you but the bore kit, carburetor kit and parts; unless you just enjoy the work you put in, you would probably be better off just purchasing a new motor as the cost would not really be that much more. That way, you have less to worry about breaking down and it is relatively easy to change out.

For that matter, you might even look on craigslist or http://www.cycletrader.com/ and be able to replace the whole thing for what you would end up spending as I have no idea what you have or where.
