If I upgrade my Disneyland annual pass will the expiration date change?

Say I bought my annual pass in Feb.08 If I upgrade it lets say in June will my Annual pass expiration date change from my original Feb. 09 expiration date to June '09??

  1. you would basically be buying another year, so your expiration date would go from february of 2009 to february of 2010, presuming that you just purchased your pass this past february.

    if you're really concerned about it, you can renew online at www.disneyland.com. i think they do offer a small discount for doing it online. they'd mail your pass to you and use the same photo as before.


  2. I actually think you can upgrade it to a higher one and pay the difference but the expiration date wont change. My brother did it with some of his tickets and the expiration date started when he first used his tickets initially.

  3. Anytime you upgrade your passport to the next level you keep the same expiration date.  If you want to it to expire in June.  Then, you have to let the pass expire in February and wait to June to purchase a new one.  

    You can not retrograde an annual passport which means pay the difference plus the remaining months.  (That was only during the opening of DCA.)

    So if you must upgrade a pass, the sooner the better.  That way you can get your money's worth.
