If I use OnStar Roadside Assistance for a tow, I still have to pay the tower, right?

Basically, I'm trying to decide whether to keep OnStar ($199/yr) or keep AAA ($91/yr). Based on description, it looks like OnStar merely CALLS a service for you, but you would still have to pay the service-provider's fee. Is that right?

You would pay for the tow, but your insurance company may very well reimbuse you. The coverage is very common and very cheap. >?<

You might check with your cars insurance company. You might find out you already have towing insurance. I did and didn't even know I had it.

no you will not have to pay for the tow just the tip .

I would keep the service for these 2 reasons . I have had an accident n on star called 911 for me insanely wow need I say any more oh they also called my house to let my family know that I was in a accident . the other lets say u lost Ur key on star will send a lock smith and will charge your $ 40.00 compared to AAA will only up to $50.00 pulse you pay the difference which in my case would have been $375.00 so you can see the diffrence .
