  1. I still have a number of pre-paid calling cards from a long-ago promotion we had at work. The promotion failed, and I ended up with hundreds of 15-minute, pre-paid AT&T calling cards.

I was curious about the same thing, so I called my home phone from different numbers using a card, and called my parents' home phone from my home using a card. Almost always, the number from which I was calling appeared on the caller ID. Sometimes the caller ID showed AT&T, but not often.

  2. Due to some FCC changes regarding Homeland Security, your home number will show up on most calling card calls.!! They USED to show some different area code and number, but in most cases, not any more.!!!! (AND, regarding a previous post, you CANNOT use *67 to block an 800 number, or any other 'toll free' number. They are ANI numbers like 800, and 911, and others that cannot respond to *67)

  3. It will show as a 1-800 number or an unknown caller.

Basically the number on the card will show up.

  4. tHE NUMBER OF THE CALLING CARD USULLY SHOWS UP

  5. I'm not sure what a calling card is, but if you want to make an anonymous call, simply put *67 before your number. You can test it with a friend first if you don't believe me.

    Example: *6718008008000
