  1. she could have wanted someone else to sit in front because they were distracting class or maybe she moved them up there because they asked her to because they couldn't see the board but either way we can't tell you rathers or not it has anything to do with racism because we don't the circumesance or anything

  2. The question that you don't give us enough information to answer:  is the reason the teacher sits you in the back because of your race?  I mean, it could be something as simple as that you are taller than average, and the short people behind you can't see over you.  Are all the other people of your race in that class in the back of the room?

  3. There could be many reasons why you teacher moved you to the back of the class, until you actually ask....I wouldn't speculate.

  4. There are studies which say that the closer someone sits to the front, the higher their grades usually are.  If you chose to sit in a front seat and have proven yourself to be studious, then your teacher may want to bring someone else to the front to get them more on the ball.  It probably has more to do with the other student than with you.

Then again, if you smell funny, your teacher may move you to the back in order to breath again.  Maybe you should invest in some deodorant.

  5. No, that is not racism.  I suggest that you ask to see her for a moment and discuss this move if it is bothering you.  She may have her reasons.  It may have nothing to do with you; maybe she wanted someone else in that seat for their reason.

  6. Are you and your teacher different races. Even so, probably not. Maybe she thought you were disruptive.

  7. We need more info. What occurred before he or she moved you to the back? What was the reason given? Were you the only one moved?

  8. I hope you are not trying to relate this to Rosa Parks who protested being forced to sit in the back of a bus...

Unless this is a practice of putting all African american students in the back-then it probaly is not racism-

many students think the back is the preferred location in the classroom-so it can be a reward
