If I walk into a police station and catch the desk Sgt sleep, slap on the desk and walk out can I be charged?

If he falls down as a result of being startled, maybe. I doubt any cop is going to bother filing a report admitting he was asleep on the job, but I think you already know that.

Charged for what assualting a desk, waking up someone sleeping on the job. I doubt they will charge you with that but they could hold you for 24 hours for suspision of a crime then release you with an apology.
