  1. Calnickel is correct, and they are not very costly at all if you can find them

  2. There are no known original Dr.1's left, unfortunately.  The last surviving example is believed to have been destroyed in WWII.

There are a handful of replica's... The Collings Foundation has one in Stowe, MA.  There's also a more authentic replica at Rhinebeck Aerodrome in NY.

  3. A few replicas have come up for sale from time to time. One of the most popular and well-known full size replicas was designed by Walt Redfern and I have a very good friend who built one (it took him several years, part-time).

    Look here:

  4. You're talking about a museum piece.

    (Hard to fly too.)

    Cole Palin at Rheinbeck Aerodrome

in N.Y. has one in flying shape,

but I doubt it's for sale.

  5. Try:

    http://www.barnstormers.com

    http://www.controller.com

There are several replicas and kits for this plane out there.

Don't expect to find any originals for sale for any price.

  6. I suggest you consider South America and Columbia in particular. Fokkers are used extensively there and I'm sure the price would compete with whatever you would pay here. Here, being the United States where I'm from.
