I heard I need proof of U.S. citizenship or a passport to drive into Canada from the U.S. Is this true?

  1. You need either Government issued ID and birth certificate or your passport... good luck :)

  2. You might want your passport to get back into the states ;)

  3. of course it is. you are entering another country so a passport is required, canada is no exception.

BTW if you plan to drive INTO the falls, i would bring a pair of dry clothes, lol

  4. If you drive you will probably also need your health card.

so your health card and drivers license.

  5. You will only need a passport if you fly.  If you have one, it can be used as i.d if you drive but a photo i.d (driver's license) and a birth certificate will do.

  6. Yes it is
