  1. Don't pay any attention to the haters.

  2. You should not make every effort to insult people who believe something different.  That's how things get ugly around here.

  3. Do not open your question with "spiritually speaking".  This phrase has become a joke here on R & S for those who want to ask a question which belongs in another category.

  4. don't ask: Why are atheist in R&S?

  5. Avoid the obvious:

    Why don't atheists believe in salvation/the lord/god/etc/etc.

    Why don't theists accept evolution/science/etc/etc.

Stick to questions of substance, questions that provoke intellectual debate over matters of importance.

  6. Talk about God, or basically anything related to actual Religion. That seems to just bring about mockery and vile hatred towards the asker of a religious question.

Somewhere along the line, this place turned into an atheist lecture hall. You can even direct questions to Christians, and atheists will always turn up stating gems like "I don't believe" and "You are stuppider than every1". LOL

  7. i'll take you seriously IF you don't post a question that answers itself, nor one that doesn't merit the use of reason.

  8. 1) Use text speak or cutesy intentional misspellings.

    2) Use sloppy grammar.

    3) Add the disclaimer "......... ONLY"

    4) Use multiple exclamation marks.

    5) Answer your own question, merely asking for applause from those who agree.

    6) Assume you know what other people believe unless you can point to it in a universally accepted reference or text such as the catechism or the Quran (hint - for atheism there is NO universally accepted reference or text).

    7) Repeat questions asked many times daily.

  9. Ask it in R&S.

  10. if you want to take seriously, ask intelligent, thought provoking, questions that invite insightful debate, questions that are not easily answered by a web search and that are not answered by a yes or a no.

if you don't want to get taken seriously, post spam, or troll, posting questions where you refuse to acknowledge a superior argument is also an invitation to be ignored.
