Hahaha!! you have got to be joking! I blame hollywood for allowing people to believe they can live the way they do without a care in the world. My mother works right in the heart of Times Square for a lawfirm, in NY it is all about location, and you're talking about the busiest location in NYC. Just to live in the upper west side can go for thousands a month, living in T.S. will only double maybe triple that! So unless you are a trust fund baby, I suggest you stick to one of the other 4 boros!

In order to afford a decent 2 BR anywhere near Times Square, you would need to make about $200K a year or more.  Figure on about $5,000 a month for rents, extra for parking if you have a car, and a very expensive lifestyle, unless you want to take the subway OUT of the city to where it is less costly.

First no one in living in Manhattan wants to live around Times Square, but Nice area in Manhattan two bedrooms and doorman? I would say easily start at 4K and upward for the apartment alone not including utilities, plus cost of living in Manhattan
