  1. Microwave is FAR more efficient.  You should use the microwave instead of the oven if you can help it, as it is FAR more efficient.  Even if you use gas, the microwave is more efficient.

  2. But if you don't use all the water that you boil, is it still more efficient? Essentially you are wasting energy by heating up water that you will just leave in the kettle to cool down again. Or maybe that's just me.

  3. Tea is not a necessity.  Forego the tea, and save all the energy.

  4. i would also want to know.

  5. i'm not sure. but if your in a cold region you should use the stove top because the excess heat will help heat your home using the same energy twice.

  6. Do you have a gas or electric range top?

If you have an electric stove top, it will take less energy than a microwave to heat your water.

If you have a gas stove top, it will take even less than the microwave and the electric added together!

If you really want to conserve energy, you could use a fireplace.

Or if you want to get crazy, you could eat the teabag.

    haha but no

what i said is true, my dad builds kitchens, 35 years in the business, I asked him
