If I wanted to become a chaplain how would I start?Once I became a chaplain what could I advance to?

where does it go to from there?

Are there different ways of progressing towards becoming a chaplain?

Religious nuts aint supposed to be career minded and materialistic. Of course, if theres something I dont know, like a great salary, free house and perks then let me know, and I will do it too.

well, material food is as important as spiritual food.  well, this is perhaps only natural.  we think god has created the world with all its physical beauty / attractions is for us all to enjoy it, relish it.  there's no harm nor evil nor bad to think of it.  its a matter of balance.  in such positions, its usually not much that u can progress.  the structure is such that thats the highest u can aspire to.  the $$ with each position is also substantial.  when we r young we think of all kinds of thngs we can do with $$. but suprisingly as we age, our needs keep on changing and whatever we hv tend to be sufficient for our needs.

try reading the book 'created rich' by a guy named barker.  i read it a few yrs ago, its interesting to see how god had wanted the world to be what it is and with us partaking in all its glory
