  3. You can get either an associated degree or bachelors degree in nursing. You don't have to have a bachelors to work in L&D but it's helpful if you want to teach, become and advanced practice nurse like a midwife or nurse practitioner.

    To work in L& D, you simply have to apply for jobs. You don't need to have special training.

  6. Nursing with specialization in labor and delivery.

    There's several ways to achieve this:

    1, Attend a university which takes on average 5 years you'd get your

       BSN (Later you can get your Master's and become a Nurse

       Practicioner... By the way this is the best route)

    2. Attend a local community college and become and Registered

       Nurse(RN)

    3. Some hospitals have training courses, check your local hospital..

  7. You go through a nursing program, then after completeing that...you go on to specialize in labour and delivery.

  8. Nursing, and then specialize in ob
