If I wanted to by Berkshire Hathway class A with 5 thousands dollars and find another investor to help??

Buy the rest so I only had say 5% interest in the one stock where could I go to do that?

  1. The A share of BerkshireH are trading near $117,000.  If another investor can put put the 112,000 that you don't have, why does that investor need you??  In other words, if I can afford 112k, I can almost surely afford the entire 117k for the whole share.

    If you really want to buy Berkshire, buy the B shares.  They are trading for just over $3900.
