Get one of those track phones.  Prepaid.  Expensive, but better than calling cards from a payphone, let alone trying to find a payphone.

I'm pretty sure its going to come up if you have detailed billing no matter what.  You can block your number from showing up for THEM, but I do not believe you can block theirs from showing up on you bill.

Call from a pay phone and no one will ever know you called.

Two methods:

Use a calling card.  The call does not show up on your bill even

if you call from your home.

Use another phone.  A pay phone is the usual choice.  But

pre-paid cell phones have no bill.
