  1. get a life lol

  2. That's a good question, I'm not sure but I'll try to find out for you.

  3. He'd probably say 'hi' back :)

  4. Depending on your location you may encounter little or no resistance or a lot. I would think that here in NYC you may not even get to talk to him, but he does ride the subway every morning so there's a good place to come up close and personal (with him and SEVERAL police officers). In a smaller town he may actually be listed and answer his own phone.

    Good Luck

PS - you can just email most of them as well as the President of the US. Their emails are readily available and they actually do read some of them personally.

  5. You probably wouldn't ever get to the mayor no matter how much hassle you went through unless you're in a small town where he or she may have an "open door" relationship with the residents.   You'd get his assistant (maybe), but more likely you'd just get a public relations person who would offer to pass on any messages.  Same with letters. They never go directly to the political person. They pass through multiple screening levels and are usually eventually answered by the public relations department.

  6. I've got to ask you, why do you want to call the Mayor and just say hi?

  7. you would be nervous

  8. dont do it man!!!dont f**** do it im telling u man federal prison isnt worth it

  9. I think a letter would be better.  Any hassle you get is probably because the mayor would be busy.  Some mayors not only perform government duties running a town but also have their normal job they did before becoming a mayor (and will need after they are done being mayor).  They can be very busy.

  10. There would be no hassle, only wall after wall of people who are paid to keep the taxpayer as far away as possible from the elected officials.  Makes no sense whatsoever but it's true.

Unless you live in Smalltown, USA.  There may be a little slice of heaven that exists where you can actually call and get through to the people YOU placed in office to serve you.
