  1. I know they manage to produce seed for it in seed packets. I think they may hybridise the seed.

  2. You can buy the seeds, the seeds are  HYBRID, meaning they are the result of two different types of watermelons being grafted or bred together.  The resulting seeds will make the seedless watermelon, but the little white seeds that come from the seedless melon (they are not completly seedless, they have little white seeds in them) are sterile, you can not replant them.  I use the analogy of a mule. You take a horse and a donkey, and breed them, and the result is the mule.  The mule is sterile and cannot itself reproduce.

  3. I have wondered about that myself.  I would think that if you grew them from seed they would produce watermelons with seeds.  I wonder if they cultivate them from cuttings or from cells in a lab.

  4. I would guess that seed is unavailable since it is a hybrid and the seed is sterile.  I'm thinking they need to be propagated and therefore only available at nurseries or on-line (growers)???
