If I wanted to mount a flat screen to my wall, would I be able to make it so the holes made wouldn't be vis?

I'm wondering if there's a way to fix any holes made from installing a flat screen tv to a wall. I read some other ask/answers and saw there's spackling and some other things but I'm wondering if those things would work specifically for holes made from flat screen mounting. Thanks!

How big is the tv?

Yes, you can definitely patch holes made from mounting a tv on a wall.  I hung mine in my apartment and had to patch and paint before I moved out so I didn't get charged.  It's just a matter of if you're willing to do the work.
