If I wanted to move to Iceland, how expensive and difficult would it be?

I always wanted to take a chance in life, and so I was thinking if I ever got the money, I could up and move to Iceland. I always wanted to live there because of how beautiful it is, and more. But I don't have a lot of information on hand on how moving from country to country works. If it matters, I'm from the United States.
