If I wanted to suggest that my town get a recycling center started again, where would I have to go?

Okay, so my town has a recycling pick-up spot only in the spring and only some years. So I think that it would be great for my town to go green and start recycling. But where would I have to go to suggest this? And what would I have to do?

OH ! YES if my society people will come forward and take an active participant in cleaning the local area as a weekend programmes should be helpful.so i think that it would behelpful for all of us..

I agree. I would either send a letter or go to the town hall.

If they don't think it's a very good idea you could have people sign a petition saying that they would like a recycling center too. That way they would know that it's not just you who wants it and that it's a bigger deal than they thought.

You may want to look into it a little further.  Only aluminum can be recycled in an environmentally friendly way.  All other recycling produces toxic waste or is extremely energy inefficient.

When our town stopped recycling, I called the town to complain about it.  I guess they got a lot of complaints and they started up again.

I would write a letter to the town or call them. I would also encourage other people in my town to call or write to the town.  The more people that complain or show that they want recycling, the more likely that your town will start it up again.

You should go to your city council and address this issue. You can also go to your city hall.
