  1. A whimp, and a poor excuse for a parent.

  2. umm.... im a teenager and sometimes we get mad at our parents and sometimes it just slips out. i know its wrong to hit an adult or any parent. just if it happens freacrently then i would talk to her or have counciling or if it gets really bad then maby you should call...

  3. a wuss?

or a very strict and unforgiving parent?

it depends on the situation though, were you trying to teach her a lesson? were you just be angry and spiteful? were you honestly worried for your safety or the safety of other family members?

  4. I would say you are surrendering your role as the parent.

Your daughter now is positive she can walk all over you.

  5. that would suck, though your daughter had no right to hit you, you should not call the police. i think you should have strictly punished her for hitting you so she would know not to do it again or else.

  6. if she leaves a bruise or mark, of course.  If she is out of control and whatever punishment you have don't doesn't work, yes call the police.  As soon as she lays hands on someone else the police would be called

  7. Heres my deal with all this....once you bring in and outside source to control a situation in your home know that they are now involved and you CAN NOT just tell me them to leave. They can and often do make peoples lives bery hard. And at 15 i smacked my dad a few times and said somethings that i really regreat.

But teens,(as immature as they are) have lots of feeling and sometimes its hard to get them all lined up and explained.

Rememeber she is going through many changes in her life and im sorry but i know lots of parents that deserve it.

  8. I would consider you to be wasting the police's time. No one was hurt or in danger. It might be a good way to scare her but she could end up with an assault charge and I don't think a smack on the back deserves that. Now if it happens frequently then that's a different story but calling the cops over one isolated incident is just nuts. I would also think you were a huge wuss lol.

  9. Smart. She will learn an important lesson now instead of when she is an adult and gets in more trouble for assaulting someone.
