  1. I have worn contacts for swimming for about 10 years and have hardly had a problem. It does take a little time to get used to, if you get a little water splashed into your eyes or your goggles leak a little and water gets into you eyes that way. Overall I haven't had a major problem every with wearing them. I was told, by my eye doctor-as I can not spell optomitrist correctly-it would make more sense to wear the Daily contacts depending on that amount you swim. (I was training about 5 hours a day every day) You might want to do this because of the c**p that could be in the pool and get into your eyes and because of the contacts would get kept on your eyes. My main advice would be to go to your eye doc and ask!

  2. They have daily disposable contacts that you could use for swimming. Depending on how often you plan on swimming, you could also get the 2 week disposable contacts (they would just sit in a solution when they aren't using them). You will have to be fitted at your eye doctor and learn how to take them in and out. You will need to wear a good pair of goggles with you contacts if you plan on swimming underwater or opening your eyes underwater because without a good pair of goggles you contacts may fall out. Another option may be prescription goggles you can check them out here  http://www.swimoutlet.com/Prescription_S... Prescription goggles would be a more cost effective way to still be able to see while you are swimming.

  3. You cant get contacts for swimming becuase they can fall out

unless you have really good goggles

  4. you considered getting lenses attached to your googles I have seen them used sometimes scuba diving ...
