If I wear prescription glasses and contacts, can I still wear coloured fake lenses?

For a laugh, I want to try some fake coloured lenses. But I wear prescription glasses and lenses (Not both at once, obviously!).

I have hazel eyes, pale skin and my hair is dark brown with two blonde streaks. What sort of other eye colours would look good (I'm thinking blue, aqua or violet if I wanted something vaguely natural)?

u can wear color prescription contacts,they dont have to be fake.amber is the color i loved,it looked good and i have similar eye color/hair as u.green also pretty good.

I have just tried some lenses at specsavers, I have hazel eyes and tried freshlook dimensions in caribean aqua and freshlook colours in sapphire blue, and they both looked great.

The opticians said that browns and hazel will make my eye colour look washed out.

I have also tried violet and this did not make any difference to my eye colour.

You must get a fitting for them thru your opticians to make sure that they are suitable for you. If they have demos there, they should let you try some in store, to see what ones you like.

i wear glasses too sometimes. if your gonna try contacts go for the crazy ones, like really unnatural colors (white or red or purple) or soccor ball ones.

Yes you can! I think green would look really good. Colorblends are great.

wear the prescribed one...not the fake..it may irritate your eyes...anyway you can choose any color you want in the prescribed one..i prefer light brown..its pleasing

ya know the only time you can wear them is if your wearing your glasses. that is unless you want to go the extra mile and get prescription ones. google color contacts and look at the pictures. look at their eye color and compare your skin tone and hair color to those whose eyes you like best
