Oh and also refused to hold my hand over my heart during the national anthem, and voted for higher taxes, voted down lowering taxes, voted for late term abortions, also my wife said she would never be proud of America unless they made me President.

Would you vote for me?

  1. Yes, I would vote for you if you went to a Muslim school against your will when you were 4. Yes, I would vote for you if you do not put your hand on your heart during the national anthem like most of us at sporting events. Yes, I would vote for you if you are going to raise taxes on the top 5% to what it was when Clinton was in office. Yes I would vote for you if you voted against lowing taxes on the top 5%. Yes I would vote for you if you did not vote on late term abortion because the fine print made all abortions illegal. Yes I would vote for you if after 8 years of failed conservative economics and failed foreign policy you were losing your pride in America. What else you got, I am not going to be deterred from the real issues and scared into voting for McCain.

  2. Well, since you are attempting a thinly veiled attack on Obama with a great deal of false information I'd have to call you a liar and not vote for you.  However, I will be voting for Obama.

And I bet you thought you were being clever..

  3. No, that's why I'm voting for McCain - a true patriot.

    Marcia: Who says "yawn"?

  4. No, unless I was a blind deaf and dumb obamabotic.

  5. No whobama...i wouldnt and WONT :o)

  6. No, because you didn't and are a slanderer promoting lies and distortions.

The bible says slanderers go to h**l.

  7. Answering the call to prayer at a mosque would be understandable. However, being a plague-carrying rat that has no respect for America is damnable

  8. No but that is hard to answer, because there is no one running for president, who fits that description.  Neither candidate went to a Muslim school, refuses to say the Pledge, hold his hand over his heart, or voted for late term abortions.  Neither candidate's wife said that nonsense about never be proud, etc.  Now McCain is for lower taxes for the wealthy.  So I take it you must be thinking of running for president.  I wouldn't hold it against you if you went to a Muslim school, but bigots try to convince people that anyone who might know a Muslim is a  terrorist. You might like some information about the Pledge before you talk about it.

You might be surprised to learn that it was written by a Socialist. Now that presents a conundrum for Republicans.  Since Republicans usually hate Socialists, a Socialist wrote the Pledge, and Republicans constantly watch people to see if they are saying it and properly too, does that mean that it is actually Republicans who are Socialists.

It might help to look at the history of the Pledge of Allegiance. Here is some information about it and links where you can read more.

"MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Descendants of the man who authored the Pledge of Allegiance say he probably wouldn't mind the removal of the words "under God" because he wouldn't have wanted them added in the first place. Scott Bellamy, 49, who owns a sandwich shop in a Memphis suburb, says his great-grandfather, Francis Bellamy, a socialist editor and Baptist minister, had clear reasons behind every word of the original pledge he wrote in 1892.

Francis Bellamy protested even the addition of "the United States of America" on Flag Day in 1924, believing the pledge as he wrote it did not need changing. "If he didn't want 'the United States of America' in the pledge, he wouldn't have wanted 'under God,"' Scott Bellamy told The Commercial Appeal of Memphis."

Bellamy's original Pledge read, "I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. America"

"The Pledge of Allegiance was written in 1892 by Francis Bellamy (1855-1931), a Baptist minister, a Christian Socialist, and the cousin of Socialist Utopian novelist Edward Bellamy (1850-1898). Bellamy's original "Pledge of Allegiance" was published in the September 8th issue of the popular children's magazine The Youth's Companion as part of the National Public-School Celebration of Columbus Day, a celebration of the 400th anniversary of Christopher Columbus's discovery of America, conceived by James B. Upham.

The pledge was supposed to be quick and to the point. Bellamy designed it to be stated in 15 seconds. He had initially also considered using the words equality and fraternity but decided they were too controversial since many people opposed equal rights for women and blacks.

An early version of the salute, adopted in 1892, was known as the Bellamy salute. It also ended with the arm outstretched and the palm upwards, but began with the right hand outstretched, palm facing downward. However, during World War II the outstretched arm became identified with Nazism and Fascism, and the custom was changed: today the Pledge is said from beginning to end with the right hand over the heart.

After a proclamation by President Benjamin Harrison, the Pledge was first used in public schools on October 12, 1892 during Columbus Day observances.

The Knights of Columbus in New York City felt that the pledge was incomplete without any reference to a deity."

  9. yes, i love to see a change. no more sheeple in the white house! what if he was a christian and refused to say pledge of allegiance, would you vote for such a person? there is a conspiracy! welcome, now you are a conspiracy theorist! i love all people and not only the Jews! by the way if you like Jews so much and dislike the Muslims then move to Israel. i am sure they would love to have you fight for their rights. don't pull us and the whole world to fight their war. they occupied Palestinian land who had nothing ti do with Holocaust and now they want to push the world into a WWIII to protect their stolen land!  thank you in advance  peace

  10. I say no, but many others would because they hate the USA and would vote for anyone and anything that is against it.

  11. I wouldn't vote for you because you're ridiculous politically and clearly consider the truth to be a little dicey.  God, it's amazing how many of these sorts of posts have been appearing with the Democratic Convention going on.  Everyone who is politically knowledgeable knows the RNC pays people to come out in force and help them Swift Boat the opposition. You're a member of such a small, ugly little party.  It wasn't always that way.  Lincoln has no doubt been doing wheelies in his grave for a long time.

Obama went to a Muslim school for TWO years when he was a little boy (little, age 4-6).  He was living in another country and a) that was what was available and b) that was the choice his father made, a father with whom he has had very little of a relationship for most of his life.  Did you have the choice of your school when you were that age?

He has a right not to pledge allegiance to a flag.  I hadn't heard that particular rumor.  You'll have to cite it.  I would prefer my president NOT do that, but I'm not going to take your word for it and not vote for the clearly better candidate without benefit of knowing the context.

He didn't hold his hand over his heart during "God Bless America."  That's NOT our national anthem; it's a song from a Broadway show.

He votes for higher taxes for the wealthy, and if you're so dense that what Bush has done to our economy over the last 8 years by waging war while cutting taxes seems like a good thing to you, then you probably shouldn't vote much less run for office.

He voted for a woman's right to choose.  He chose not to vote for something that he saw as an attempt to slide backwards into overturning Roe, and wow, you'll say anything -- Michelle Obama didn't say that, and did you WATCH her during the Democratic Convention or will you only accept input that supports your bias?

This is the accurate text of the comment to which you refer:

"For the first time in my adult life, I am proud of my country, and not just because Barack has done well, but because I think people are hungry for change and I have been desperate to see our country moving in that direction and just not feeling so alone in my frustration and disappointment.  I've seen people who are hungry to be unified around some basic common issues and it has made me proud...."

That is the ACTUAL quote from the ACTUAL source.  I watched a video clip and transcribed it for you.

She was on the campaign trail, and tired, and said things in a way she might have said differently if she hadn't been so tired.  But hey, enough of her, let's talk about Mr. "I hate gooks" McCain who admits "the economy isn't his strongest area" and who has seven houses.  Yeah, that's my president.

  12. BIG YAWN... Probably not.  However, there aren't any candidates like that in this election.  That's just a Neocon figment of imagination...

  13. No, I would not vote for you.  It would seem to me that you were anti-American.

  14. No I would not. I would ONLY vote for you if you ran against some SHMUCK who would give us 8 more years of CHIMP Bush
