and would bus be cheaper? that would take awhile to get there on bus yes?

It would take forever to go there on the bus! Copa (www.copaair.com) usually has the cheapest airfares to Tocumen International Airport (Panama City). You should get away with $500 or less.

If you're going to Panama the country it would be impossible to get there by bus because you have to go over water.
