If I were to enroll in real estate class what are the things would I consider first?

Well, the very first thing I would consider is (and not to rain on your parade) the fact that the real estate market is flooded with both homes and agents right now.  It is a tough business to begin with- and even more so in today's market.  I would recommend you explore other options with greater career potential.  If you do go to real estate class I would first consider building a strong network of people from other career classes (ie: a lawyer, a mortgage broker, a financial planner).  They frequently refer their clients to real estate agents- the sooner you establish a great referral network the better your business will be!

How disciplined you are to stick with it.  When I was in real estate school, several attorneys dropped-out of the class because it IS difficult.  The school exam was extremely difficult, and the state exam was FOUR HOURS LONG !!!!  I flunked it the first time and had to take it again; but then, I was sick the first time too when I took it.

It takes years, sometimes, to develop a clientele and usually there's more money going OUT, especially on gas, than coming in at first.  It can be  VERY discouraging and back-stabbing.  Other realtors will sometimes s***w over you for your commission and "steal" listings away from you.

It's a BACK STABBING business. . . .TO BE SURE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

how to keep an income going while you get in this business. You will most likely NOT make any money for quite some time. And be sure you're aware of ALL the costs to get started (it's not just the price of school) Good Luck
