If I were to start a business making a certain (legal) product how and where would I go about finding ?

someone who I could be their supplier for the product I make,that they could then sell to the public.and how would I find out if there is a market for the product I intend to make and try to sell, if anyone can give me any serious information it would be very much appreciated. thank you in advance.
